Oil-immersed high voltage fuse for transformer overload protection  
This product is used in indoor power system of 50Hz AC, rated voltage from 10kV to 15kV, to power transformer and other electrical equipment from overloading and small fault of short-circuit. This oil-immersed fuse can not be used independently, it must be in series with the high voltage current-limiting fuse for the mothball protection to provide full-range protection for transformer.

Note:  
(1)This product can not be used independently, it must be in series with mothball fuse-element to consist full-range fuse. In the full-range protection, it is only used to protect small fault short-circuit and overloading current.  
(2)When assembling this product and mothball fuse together, please make it sure that there is point of intersection of both on the current-time curve.  
(3)time-current characteristics curve is shown in (Fig.1).
3.Shape and installation dimensions
(1)The dimensions of fuse-element are shown in (Fig.2).

(3)The installation of fuse-element is shown in (Fig.4).
Installation steps:  
  1.open the shackle and pull out the handle from the base.  
  2.Revolve screw tube and bottom bolt in the handle.  
  3.Loosen screw tube and bottom bolt.  
  4.Insert fuse-element into screw tube.  
  5.Trumpet cap must be placed between screw tube and handle.  
  6.Fasten handle with spanner.  
  7.Open up funnel cap.  
  8.Use a spanner to tighten top bolt and another one to revolve the bottom bolt, the wrest moment is about 5.6-7.9N.m.  
  9.Insert handle into base and turn shackle to lock the fuse.

4.Attentions  
  (1)During the normal operation, the oil level of the oil box should be in the range as shown in Fig.3.
  (2)After the fuse-element acting, the same type and spec new fuse-element should be replaced. Never use fuse-element with higher rated voltage to replace.  
  (3)For the three-phase installed fuses, even if only one fuse acts, all of the three fuses must be replaced unless it is sure that there is only one fuse that has borne fault current.  
  (4)The breaking of fuse would cause the oil deteriorated, polluted and charcoaled.
