This product is used in indoor power system of 50Hz AC, rated voltage of 12kV, also can be used together with other protective electric apparatus (e.g. vacuum switch, load switch, high voltage contactor, etc.) to protect high voltage motor and other electrical equipment from overloading and short-circuit. 1.Type

Note: 
(1) Above parameters are the ratings for single tube fuse. The fuses can be connected in parallel according to user's requirement to get higher current rated values.  
(2) Under the condition of specified conditions, the fuses can break any fault current from (2-4) Ie (rated current of fuse-element) to the rated breaking current of 50kA.  
(3)Time-current characteristics curve is shown in (Fig.1),The dotted lines stand for the current above the minimum breaking current.  
(4) Current-limiting characteristics curve is shown in(Fig.2).
3.Shape and mounting size 
The shapes and dimensions of the fuses are shown in (Fig.3) and (Fig.4).
4.Selection of Fuse-element and attentions  
The rated current of the fuse used for direct starting is given by following formula.  Iy=N,δ,In

In----The full-load current of the motor 
δ----synthetic coefficient as shown in Table
N----The ration of the starting current to the full-load current, generally N=6
Iy----The current value during the starting time

Draw the Iy value point corresponding to the starting time on the time-current characteris-tics curve, the characteristics curve corresponding to the point or the curve near the point shows the fuse to be selected. The rated current of the fuse should be greater than 1.3 times of full-load current of the motor. When installing the fuse, please especially pay attention to the safe inter-lock of the fuse-element at the operation position. When one or two phases of the three-phase loop have been acted, all of the three fuse-elements must be replaced unless it is sure that there is no over current through the un-fused fuse-elements.
